Saudi Arabia launched e-Visa for Umrah pilgrims

Saudi Arabia has launched an electronic visa for those interested in performing Umrah so that more Muslims around the world can easily visit Saudi Arabia and perform Umrah. Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of the country has launched this e-visa. News Saudi Gazette.

According to the news, those interested in getting an e-visa should go to the website of 'Nusuk' and apply. The aspirants for performing Umrah can visit Saudi Arabia by July 19 with an e-Visa.

The country has recently made a new law for those who plan to perform Umrah. In this, the insurance fee for Umrah pilgrims has been reduced by 63 percent while keeping the health care as before. Apart from this, visa issuance in less than 24 hours and without health conditions, the duration of Umrah visa has been extended from 30 days to 90 days.

Saudi Arabia has also introduced new rules allowing women to perform Umrah without a male guardian (mahram). In addition, Umrah pilgrims can travel to special places in the country.
